Shiloh Pharmacy Floor Lamp

This lamp is valuable because of its dual purpose. It is great for crafts or projects entailing lots of detail. In addition, it looks like a collector’s item. It is fashionable and looks great in any room it may be placed in. For example, this floor lamp sits in the corner of my office and really helps make the space appear a bit more sophisticated and professional. I bet it would look fabulous in my living room to the right of my sofa. I could probably even place it in my dining room. The point of this lamp is to increase color and detail. It is built with natural light. The floor lamp has a 20watt Ott-lite bulb complete with non glare and no heat. Mine is in my office because I bring a lot of my work home at night. I read late into the night and I have noticed an ease in my tasks with this lamp. I used to get a feeling of strain and heaviness in the back of my head and behind my eyes. Now, I rarely get that feeling. Natural light is healthier for human eyes and while being eco-friendly, studies have been done that actually show it reduces eye strain. Thelitesource.com offers many great floor lamps like this one. Most of them are made specifically for crafting. I love the Shiloh Pharmacy floor lamp because it makes my work easier, I see things clearer and fine print seems larger. My daughter does her school projects under the 20watt bulb because she says it makes her markers and paints look prettier. Most of all, I like that this lamp doesn’t look like it is meant for anything but design. It doesn’t look like a silly crafting or reading lamp. Instead, it has a marvelous vintage charm. It is a beautiful golden bronze and the design itself is sleek. The shade is adjustable. There are two screws below the shade that allow you to move the shade in any direction. The floor lamp is high off the ground and illuminates large areas but it also shines brightly on small areas and detail significantly.
