Freestanding Magnifier by Ott-Lite model A0053N
January 15, 2009
Scrapbooking is a time consuming hobby. Anyone who does it on a regular basis knows how expensive it can be. Both time and money are things I find valuable and I think others would agree. That is why, I like to be very detailed when scrapbooking. If I’m using my time and money on something then I want to try my best and make it perfect. Granted, this is a hobby of mine so I still want to keep it fun. With that being said, I bought a freestanding magnifier at thelitesource.com. It is simply a 5 inch round magnifier on an adjustable stand. As pointless as this item may seem, it has really contributed to my scrapbooking. For example, I sometimes use very small pieces of glitter and it can be difficult when deciphering between reds and pinks or blues and teals. The magnifier increases objects up to 5 times their original size making color selections in small crafting supplies simple and quick. I have a giant sticker collection consisting of letters, numbers, sayings, activities and more. After looking at millions of stickers for a few hours, my eyes play tricks on me and the boy at the picnic holding the hot dog might be mistaken for the boy at school holding the pencil. Despite time spent on scrapbooking, the smallest details are seen clearly with the magnifier. The magnifier can be picked up and placed anywhere. It is grey and probably handy for any crafting project.
